Pico Facial = Pico Focus My Face
The PicoSure Skin Revitalisation treatment represents the very latest in laser technology for the revitalisation and rejuvenation of the skin. As we age, the elastin and collagen that make up the support structure in our skin, weakens and causes fine lines and wrinkles. The PicoSure Revitalisation treatment uses the new Focus™ Lens array that attaches to the PicoSure fixed handpiece. The Focus Lens array harnesses the power of the picosecond technology and stimulates the production of elastin and collagen. This dramatically improves the appearance and texture of the skin with less discomfort, less downtime and less risk
How does the PicoSure Revitalisation work?
Pulses of laser light target the sub-layers of skin and treat the ageing support structure. The body’s natural healing process then takes over and eliminates the older and damaged skin and replaces it with new collagen and elastin – creating smooth and more youthful skin
How long does a treatment take?
Treatment times can vary but most treatments take between 25 and 30 minutes
Can I go back to work after a treatment?
Yes. You may experience some redness but this will subside in as little as half an hour or sometimes up to two hours if you have sensitive skin.
How many treatments will I require?
This depends on each individual and their requirements. But generally even after one treatment a significant difference to the area of skin treated can be achieved. A series of 3-6 treatments, 2-4 weeks apart is generally recommended for optimal results. The treatment may be applied to the face, hands, décolletage and arms and is suitable for all skin types.
Who does the treatment?
A registered clinical aesthetician
Does it hurt?
The treatment can be described as mildly uncomfortable but not painful
What are the risks and side effects?
We follow extensive treatment guidelines to ensure that only suitable candidates are treated.
